The Project
The European Green Deal sets ambitious goals to make the continent climate-neutral by 2050, with green mobility playing a crucial role in achieving sustainable transportation systems.
MobiSpaces contributed to these objectives by leading the transformation of green mobility through the creation of innovative data spaces. As urban and maritime movements continue to grow, managing the resulting surge of data demands infrastructure that is secure, trustworthy, and privacy-respecting. MobiSpaces delivered an end-to-end, mobility-aware data governance platform, covering data acquisition, in-situ processing, and security and privacy operations throughout the data lifecycle.
By harnessing the power of AI, the project enhanced energy efficiency and advanced the development of the Mobility Data Space. The platform enabled organisations to make data-driven decisions that were both environmentally sustainable and economically viable, contributing to a greener future for all.
Our Contribution
Through collaborative effort and a commitment to sustainability, WLC enriched the MobiSpaces initiative with ethical guidance and legal expertise throughout the project’s lifecycle.
WLC ensured that the project’s evolution aligned with applicable ethical principles and legal frameworks, and that its data governance practices prioritised security, trustworthiness, and privacy at every stage. Leveraging our deep understanding of data protection law, WLC helped embed these principles into the architecture of the platform itself, rather than treating them as an afterthought.
