A good Data Protection Maturity Assessment is not just about spotting the mistakes, it’s about providing practical and organisation-specific recommendations to address them.
Your business partners, customers, or consumers increasingly demand evidence that personal data held by your organisation is well looked after. An external Data Protection Maturity Assessment can go a long way in maintaining the trust of your key partners.
Our approach is to start each Maturity Assessment with a scoping meeting. We must have a good understanding of what you wish for us to look into, and based on that scope, we agree on the assessment plan, which may vary from a broad comprehensive assessment to a deep dive into a particular function or process.
In our assessment, we rely on our well-established assessment framework that builds on international standardisation bodies such as NIST, ISO, or AICPA CICA. We may also customise your assessment and supplement it with local requirements, based on the jurisdiction you operate in or your sector-specific regulations.
We don’t stop mid-way and finish our assessments by stating what does not work. White Label Consultancy applies its years of operational experience to suggest practical improvements.

From a Legal Point of View

Data protection laws impose stringent requirements. Irrespective of your jurisdiction, in addition to mere compliance with the law, all organisations are required to be accountable by actively demonstrating that their data practices meet applicable regulatory requirements. A Data Protection Maturity Assessment is a pragmatic exercise to review your organisation’s compliance with data protection requirements and to spot any data protection issues right in time.

It can be swiftly customised to meet the regulatory demands of any jurisdiction or industry sector. Assessments are also available in multiple formats to suit your organisation’s needs, including a self-assessment, a hybrid assessment based on an evidence review, or a fully facilitated assessment conducted by White Label Consultancy.

2.

Practical advice supported by extensive operational experience

Our Data Protection Maturity Assessment identifies both strengths and potential vulnerabilities in your organisation’s approach to data protection. It offers an actionable roadmap to effectively address identified risks, helping to advance your organisation to an optimal level of data protection maturity. Additionally, our methodology supports efficient benchmarking, allowing for consistent evaluations across multiple entities and delivering comparable results – perfectly suited for group-wide assessments.

3.

Leveraging our Digital Trust Hub platform

To streamline the assessment process, White Label Consultancy has developed a digital platform – the Digital Trust Hub (DTH). This solution eliminates the need for multiple documents and lengthy spreadsheets by consolidating the entire assessment in one accessible location.
