White Paper

Recent Cybersecurity Regulations

Over the last 18 months, there has been a swath of new cybersecurity regulations with vast implications for organisations conducting business within Europe and around the world.

Europe, more specifically the European Commission, has once again taken the lead in drafting regulations and legislative frameworks which will undoubtedly have a domino effect across the globe. As we move throughout 2025 and into 2026 in the coming months, further deadlines will be upon us with new provisions and supplement regulations taking effect. Throughout many countries beyond the EU, there have also been efforts to introduce new legislative frameworks and amend pre-existing frameworks, ensuring that cyber resilience is increased across critical infrastructure sectors, manufacturers, and the consumer.

This publication has the primary objective of providing an in-depth overview of some of the latest legislative and regulatory developments from the EU and the broader international community.
